BMFTR-Project KAHR for Rhineland-Palatinate and North Rhine-Westphalia: Climate Adaptation, Flooding and Resilience
Based on the Erzähl Connect storytelling formats of the KAHR research project, SkF Hagen and Sven Söhnchen established a writing workshop in Hagen-Eckesey. In a newly published book, residents document their personal experiences of the 2021 flood disaster and its long-term impacts.
The kick-off event for KAHR 2.0 took place in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler on May 11 and 12, 2026.
The LAND4FLood Summer School, “Build Back Better – How to Learn from Flood-Affected Regions,” will take place on September 10–11, 2026, in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in cooperation with TERRAenVISION 2026.
