Learning from international exchange and bridging the gap between research, policy, and practice.

On October 29 and 30, the ABCD-Center  is hosting an intercultural transfer workshop on flood-resilient buildings and infrastructure at the Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management, RWTH Aachen University in Aachen . Other topics include, among other, monitoring and early-warning systems, social resilience, as well as financing and implementation.

One-page abstracts in English for short presentations may be submitted by September 30, 2026. Accepted contributions will be presented in 15-minute talks, followed by a 5-minute question-and-answer and discussion session.
